Internal
In addition to machining your products, we also provide the following treatments for your products in-house.
laser engraving
This allows us to provide your products with desired logos, serial numbers and/or various characters.
Pin engrave
This is mainly used on steel where the marking must remain permanently visible.
External
In order to offer the most complete product possible, we can arrange the following post-processing for you through our carefully selected, reliable network of suppliers.
Anodizing
Do you want to provide your aluminum products with a harder surface layer? This is no problem at all and we are happy to arrange it for you. An oxide layer is applied by means of anodizing, which is wear-resistant, hard and porous. Hard anodizing is also an option. Anodizing is not only a good option for the strength of the material, it also offers visual, decorative options due to the many color options, such as purple, orange, red, blue, black, gold-coloured, titanium-coloured or even natural.
Electroplating
To strengthen the surface, we can carry out various electroplating operations for you, in which the product is covered with another layer of metal. This includes galvanizing (applying a layer of zinc), nickel plating (applying a layer of nickel) and chrome plating (applying a layer of chrome).
Chromate / Passivation
Through chromating, a chromate layer is formed in the surface of the product to increase the corrosion resistance. This can be applied to aluminium, zinc and galvanized steel. Passivation is applied to steel to restore the chrome oxide layer.
Heat Treatment
Several heat treatments are possible, including case hardening (and optionally carburizing, carbon-enriched case hardening) and vacuum hardening .
